PSYCH-OUT RULES
1. Have fun! Don't take everything so seriously. Let your imagination wander.
2. Be active. Don't sign up if you're busy and can only go on every two weeks. If you do have to be gone for a time, you must post on the absence board. If you do not post on the absence board and are gone longer than three weeks, your account will get deleted.
3. Posts are in third person. That's it. The end.
4. Posts are to be relatively long. I mean, not twelve paragraphs but not two lines either.
5. Don't harass people in the chat box. Keep the mood light, and try to be nice to everyone.
6. If you’re a canon character, ACT LIKE IT, if you fail to do so, you will have one warning otherwise your account will be deleted.
7. If you're going away for more than three days, please notify an admin by posting on the absence board. If you don't post or notify one of the admins, you will be deleted within three weeks.
8. If a thread has a characters name in brackets (ex: [SHAWN]) then it's only for that person (and the person who started the thread) to RP in. If a thread says: [SHAWN/OPEN] feel free to go ahead in and post what you'd like (as long as it follows the plot)
9. Please, please, please use spell check. The button is there for a reason. It's very hard to understand a post when there are so many grammatical errors. IF YOU HAVE TOO MANY GRAMMAR/SPELLING ERRORS, YOU WILL BE WARNED. After a few warnings, your character will be deleted. I AM NOT JOKING. ...Sorry, but grammar is a pet-peeve of mine.
10. No plagerising. If you use someone else's artwork/ideas make sure you credit them.
11. RPing is supposed to be fun. Don't sign up if you think it's a 'chore' and you feel as if its your 'duty' to reply. If you don't like it, simply don't sign up.
13. Be respectful and mindful of other players and admins. We are here to have fun and roleplay. If you can’t play well with others, you can’t play at all. We would also like to make a note that all in-character fights need to stay in-character.
14. You need to make a separate account for each character you play :]
15. When we role-play, we usually go by an order (ie: Shawn, Gus, Lassie, Shawn...etc). However, it isn't a crime to break the order. Just don't post every other time.
16. R-Rated threads are acceptable. But please label them. And if you're on this site, compromise with the other person who wants an R-Rated thread. These threads are advanced, if you're not ready then PM an admin.
17. READ THE CLAIMS! If someone has already claimed a power, and you use it for your application, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED. Be original--there are a LOT of powers to choose from. This goes for other claims as well (fonts, celebs, etc).
If you have questions, just ask! Have fun and enjoy the site!
